My amazing monkey game!

We were learning about coding games.
I found it easy to choose my character.
I found it hard to make the noises.
I really enjoyed seeing my finished product.
Next time I need to make my own character.
Some time ago, LH3 hub has been coding our games to help kids learn Maori words. Scratch was a great help to code our games, but it was difficult to find the right codes in the bar chart. Finding the monkey character was very easy, because there was a gallery full of them. In my game I realized that it was quite easy questions so next time I will be working on that. This game was inspired by 'Tipu in schools'.

  2. Hi Jess! My name is Ruby and I learn at Mangapapa School Gisborne. I like how you had enough questions to teach us, but not too many for us to process. It was juuuust the right amount of questions! I liked the sound that you used for the correct answers, and when we did the wrong one it would have a different sound. But I think you should check your title, you spelt monkey wrong.

  3. Kia ora Jess, I'm Bonnie, I like how you added different sound effects if you got it wrong or right. Next time you could maybe have the character and the background relate to the subject. Well done!

  10. Kia ora Jess. My name is Daniel and I attend Mangapapa school in Gisborne, Tairāwhiti. I would imagine it would be pretty hard to code the sound into Scratch because I can’t even code in chat. You might be able to tell but there is a very slight delay on your answers. Everything else is great, nice job.

    1. Hi Daniel,

Its jess the creator of the game thank you so much for your comment on the delay i have done that on purpose to wait 2 seconds to give you time to read. With help and knowledge coding the sound was not that hard to do i reckon you will learn pretty fast.

      Kind Regards, Jess
